atxilipu is a publishing, record and home video company, dealing with children's products. In March 2003 atxilipu was started and became the licensee for award-winning Dutch composer Raimond Lap's baby music.The first 4 Lovely Baby CDs were released just 2 months later with tremendous success and media coverage.A market niche was created, since this was the first baby music ever to reach the Portuguese market.O Herói Sou Eu!In this innovating personalized books project (a 5 book collection) the heroes are the readers themselves. This is achieved by inserting the child's data (name, age, birthplace, favorite team, friends' names, etc.) in the pre-existing story.The result is the child becoming the hero of the story in a hard cover book delivered in less than 10 minutes.HoplaIn 2008 atxilipu became the home video licensee for Belgium's baby hero, Hopla, with the release of the first two DVDs of the series. Another two have reached the market since then.Lazy TownIn a partnership between atxilipu, iPlay (a record label with a large portfolio of children's CDs and DVDs) and Lemon Entertainment (Portugal's largest children live show company), the first Lazy Town CD + DVD was released. TV salesSince 2009 atxilipu has negotiated and sold the TV rights of several children's series to both free to air and pay TV channels.Dinosaur TrainIn 2010 atxilipu acquired the TV rights of The Jim Henson Company's hit series Dinosaur Train.After having commissioned the dubbing to Portuguese, supervised it and adapted the songs' lyrics personally, we sold the series to RTP (free to air) and to Canal Panda (pay TV).Super FM KidsIn 2011 atxilipu started producing radio content for the first Portuguese children's radio.Super FM Kids was a 2.5 hour slot being broadcasted on Super FM frequency, 104.8, in the Greater Lisbon area, totally devoted to children and their interests.
