That’s why we offer a variety of water sports under one roof, providing service to everyone from beginners to professionals. Whether you’re looking for introductory windsurfing lessons to get you started, or you’re interested in renting equipment to hit the water for some vacation or weekend fun, Sotavento WaterSports has you covered.

We’re located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in an area known as Punta Las Marías, the best-kept secret in the Caribbean. The area has ideal weather conditions year-round, and its warm waters are a welcome surprise to the crowds of visitors we receive from around the globe. Whether you’re a freerider or are into waves, our beach can be your very own skate park.

The site has won acclaim on a handful of occasions when it hosted The Puerto Rico Windsurfing & Kiteboarding Slalom Series 2010, The Formula World Windsurfing Championship 2011 and The IKA 2011 North American Course & Kite Racing Championship.

We use only the best gear used by champions, such as RRD (Robert Ricci Designs) used by Antoine Albeau, World Champion of Slalom and Formula Racing; Goya used by Marcillo “Brawzinho” Browne, Wave Windsurf World Champion; and Quatro International used by windsurfing icon, Levi Siver.
