  It is a beautiful area to stay in but PR hasn't recovered in enough to justify the price per night. Nightlife is fun, but there still isn't a lot to do. There is good food around the hotel though. The hotel. Itself is very nice and the beds are comfortable. I would stay here again, but not for a while.

  The location of this hotel is great. We had a suite on the 3rd floor and the view on the harbor side is good. It’s great to jog around the harbor around sunset. The room is large but the decor was dated. The breakfast was not special and the cantaloupe was even rotten, which surprised us. The service is good but generally speaking we think the room rate is too high.

  Location is great, hotel is very clean and the views are really nice. Bit disappointed that the room did not have a mini fridge. Even a small one for keeping a couple bottles of water or leftovers cold. Bed was comfortable. The hotel itself is close to everything in old San Juan. This was a the last day of our trip and we had not seen anything around old San Juan so it was perfect for a night.

  Can I give this hotel more than five stars? We got married in Old San Juan 2 weeks ago and we and our other family members stayed at the Old San Juan Sheraton. From the moment we arrived we received such incredible service, and all the staff members were so happy for us as we were preparing for the wedding. They went above and beyond for us. They even left a nice surprise from the staff for the newlyweds in our room. We couldn't thank them enough. Amber, Amanda, Angel, Joseph, Jonathan, Shelly and Wanda, we cannot wait to come back and stay with you again!
  
  The location is absolutely perfect and is in walking distance of everything in Old San Juan. If you need a cab they grab one for you in less than 5 minutes, however if you just want to be in Old San Juan you probably won't need a taxi. Everything is walkable. Their second floor Terrace and restaurant is lovely too and they have excellent prices for their happy hour. We also really enjoyed the rooftop pool. The views of the Cruise Ships coming in we're really great. Again I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff really knows how to treat their guests.

  Booked reservations for this hotel in March 2017 for a stay in early January 2018. Our reservations were canceled by hotel as they said they would be closed when we arrived because of the hurricane damages. But once we arrived in San Juan we noticed that it was open, so we walked in off the street and asked if we would be able to get a room. To our surprise they offered us rooms but at a hugely inflated rate than the one we had reserved. And once we explained what they had done to us, The people at the front desk would not honour our previous bookings. This kind of business practice is unethical and deplorable. While we usually like Sheraton Hotels when travelling, I will do my best to avoid them in the future travelling, because of this business practice.

  The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed for a quick overnight stay. Live music downstairs was great!

  The name Sheraton has always resembled an above par dwelling. Sadly, this particular one does not possess the "wow" effect; nor the "Great!" factor as well. The front desk resembles that of a Motel 6 environment, the pool seems like a 4ft puddle, and the rooms lack any sense of style or decor.
  The AC in the room did not cool down past 72 degrees. When a fan was requested from the front desk, they had no idea on where to retrieve it from; even though it is listed as a request able amenity.
  Last night, I called for room service (which the hotel "states" they offer); however, they sadly said that it was not available this day. In the morning, I called for room-service again, the gentleman who answered was rude and continued to hang up on me.
  Being in a premium touristic area, such as Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, one would expect a little more from the name "Sheraton".
  This visit was a complete disappointment and regretfully a negative appeal to the Sheraton hotel.

  Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff was particularly exceptional and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Rooms are modest and clean. Affordable place to stay in Old San Juan.

  Booked for a one night stay 11/10 & 11/18) prior to leaving on a 7 day cruise months prior, got to the hotel to find out they cancelled our reservation (said some bs about they had to because of the hurricane) and now they want us to pay $260.00 plus, we originally booked the room for $160.00 plus.
  Because we never received an email or phone call, they gave us the room for $209.00; we would have to pay the $269.00 the Saturday when we return back from the cruise. Stayed here before and love it, but not sure if I’ll ever stay here again.😡😡

  What a bunch of heartless folks! Booked for 10/8/17 and tried to cancel due to hurricane. 80% of island has no power, 91% has no cell service, cruise port is closed folks have no water (Drinking Rain Water) and they won't cancel my reservation! Heartless and thoughtless greedy, money grubbing folks!!! Its my understanding that they are the only hotel on the island that refuses to do what is right and issue refunds. I now know all I need to know about this hotel and I stay in the street before I booked with them. Hopefully they will give my room to someone in need but my bet is they will just charge a volunteer for it and double their money!

  Perfect experience. Stayed here for 6 nights and not a single complaint. Everything was great. I love how house keeping is working at all hours. I'd leave the room at 6am other days late like 2pm and would always return to a clean room! The breakfast is very delicious as well!!!! I love the on site hertz, extremely convenient. And most activities we paid for pick up at this hotel.

  The location is great! Watching the ferry and seeing our cruise ship across the bay was wonderful. You can walk all over Old Town and the forts. Great pre cruise location. Hotel is nice.

  I had a great time here, I really did. But the tiny lobby and unprofessional desk service are unforgivable, which is why I'm only giving 3 stars. The lobby is always congested. And the one desk on the first floor is guest services, check-in, information desk, and (maybe) as a result aren't very friendly or eager to offer suggestions or assistance during ur stay. . The room (standard) is very nice, I wasn't a at all disappointed. Sheets and towels smell beautiful, bed very comfortable. No weird smells in the hotel like at the older hotels in San Juan. Bathroom big. Wifi slow. Mini Coffee maker in room w free coffee, super exciting. Very nice rooftop pool and hot tub.

  The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. It is right in the middle of old San Juan. The staff was very nice. We even checked out but we wanted to go get something to eat so Angel asked if we needed to store our luggage (at no charge) until we were done eating. That was so above and beyond! Angel gave us a ticket for our luggage and just said bring it back to him when we are ready to go. We went and ate and shopped a little. When we came back they retrieved our luggage and got us a cab. The roof top pool is also very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and would defiantly recommend staying here.
