  I purchased a Simmons Beautyrest Platinum Spring Grove King / Extra-Firm mattress in September 2020 from an authorized dealer in Puerto Rico. We pay $ 2,789.89, and four (4) months later we have a lot of low back pain. The mattrress has sagged about 2” and lost its firmness. When claiming the manufacturer's warranty, which is described as an extraordinary 5-star guarantee, which is not true, we have the answer “The compaction found in the mattress at this time is normal and the impression found in it does not exceed the tolerance established by limited warranty guidelines. As is found in other beds of this type, the softer the materials found in the filling of the products, the more prone they are to compaction”. Given this, their response was that they could not offer a replacement since the product is acting normally. If in four months this has been normal behavior, just imagine how the product will be in two years. Obviously it is a product of very low "bad" quality and the representation of an extraordinary guarantee in just a great deception that every consumer should take into account when considering the Simmons product as an alternative. We have awarded only one star, as it is the lowest rating allowed.
