  Had an excellent lunch here. Being vegetarian I was bit taken aback looking at the menu poster they have put up but after talking to the staff I got to know about variety of veg options there. Food tasted great. Coconut rice was heavenly. Staff was friendly too. We enjoyed time here.

  Shrimp with guava sauce and coconut rice on side!! Omg that's the best combination ever!! This is a very nice restaurant with good ambience and music. Patio seating on the beach side is pretty cool. They have some vegetarian options too if you don't eat meat. Overall great restaurant

  I strongly recommend the chicken mofungo in garlic sauce, but make sure you ask for the yuca mofungo (the mofungo made from yuca). It is much better than their mofungo made from plaintain. I rate that dish a 5 star dish. My only complaint is that they are very stingy with the salads. When a dinner comes with salad, they give you a small amount: I mean it's probably about 1/4 or 1/5th of the size that you'd get in the U.S. I finished it in five bites.
  
  Also, if you order a separate salad from the menu, it's also absurdly small. The caesar salad is $10 and they give you about a third of the amount of lettuce etc. that you'd get for the same thing in most US restaurants. If you want a salad, drive a mile down the road in either direction and get a salad at the Wendy's or McDonalds or Subway in Luquillo (all 3 just off the exit), or a salad at Burger King in Rio Grande going the other way.
  
  All four of those places will give you a salad that is about 50% bigger than Edelweiss for half the price, and they're just as good, if not better. And they'll have it ready within a minute. At Edelweiss, you're paying about quadruple the price for what you get. It would be acceptable to pay double the price because it's more of a restaurant (though still - it's just a kiosk, so there's not much ambiance etc.), but to reach that point, Edelweiss needs to double the amount of lettuce they put in their salad.

  Very greasy food they are not accommodating, basically they don't care. I did not finish my meal. Would not recommend. The sangria was watery.

  Put this place on your list, and check out the Kioskos. These were not on any lists of things to do in Puerto Rico but after a day in the rain forest and looking for something to eat, we decided to venture off to this stretch of over 60 restaurants, all next door to each other. All appearing like the prototype hole in the wall that makes you a bit leery. Thankfully Google worked and it led us to Edelweiss where we were the only patrons when we walked in. Wasn't sure what to expect, the place didn't look that big or well put together but boy did the food speak for itself. I enjoyed the lobster mofango while my wife had the grouper stuffed avocado. The portions were very filling and the flavors were some of the best we had on our whole trip. Definitely worth the drive from downtown.

  We went there for our first dinner in Puerto Rico, and boy was it good! The skirt steak and rice and beans were mind blowing. The best decision we ever made was to try their hot sauce. OMG!!!! We have now gone back 4 times in 6 days! We are obsessing over this sauce! Wow! We love this place! 10 stars!

  Very quite here. Food was excellent. Service was great. Fabiola our waitress was nice. Great drink specials. Very scenic. Overlooking the ocean.
