  Great location, decent ambiance, but they had one server running the whole place of more than 15 tables (both inside and out). Although our server was incredible, each of her rounds took 30 minutes. i.e. from requesting hot sauce to getting it on the table is 30 minutes (plus i think they charged 50 cents for hot sauce. Who does that!). Food was okay. nothing great. Wish they had more staff. There is plenty of potential.

  Had a great experience here. Came on a quiet Wednesday evening. I sat outside and enjoyed the view of old San Juan and great music. The vegan menu has a nice amount of options I went with the criollo tofu and I cleaned the entire plate 😋 also great service especially from Obie 👍🏼

  This place was great, good food, good service, we loved it. The server was very attentive, food came out hot and fast. They didn't treat us like tourists and had good prices. The portions were perfect for the price. There was a open air market in the plaza so it added to experience. There is an old fort very close, within walking distance so it was good to walk off the good food.

  I love location. They always have nice music to enjoy the relaxing views of the Plaza. But I am very disappointed with the food and service this time. I don’t mine waiting when the service and food are a nice experience. That was not the case. Waiter keep forgetting what we asked, breakfast was cold, old bread and pancakes didin’t have a fresh flavor.
  I am a local so I visited the place a lot. Hope they improve .

  I arrived to a not busy restaurant (one table inside was seated) - and 2 outdoor tables with guests. Score. But I waited an hour for food that never arrived and was only told it was because of other tables inside. What other tables? People that were sat after me? I had to dash out to catch a flight so I couldn’t wait any longer. Such a disappointment.

  Great service, and good brunch food. The coffee is better than most places also. Some plates a decent sharing portion if you want to avoid save some bucks.

  Wonderful food, drinks and service. Our server, Obie, was a real delight. The Ahi Tuna was superb as was the cream brûlée. Highly recommend for anyone coming into San Juan port.

  Best restaurant in Old San Juan. The food is great and the service awesome. It was my first visit and the treat you so well. We even had desserts that normally I dont do in restaurants. The decor is fabulous with a great tone of romantic vibe according with the lighting creating a relax yet refined ambience that instills well-being. Another great thing is that the location is perfect because you can park very close 1min from the two big multi-level parking lots and just a short walk will get you there. 5 stars

  This place after everything that has happened this place is moving forward and strong this magnificent establishment has a great staff and amazing food the service is great. I will totally come back to Cafe Berlin next time I come to PR I would recommend this place, If your looking for a great time come to Cafe Berlin you won’t regret it.☺️

  If you are ever in old San Juan and are looking for a delicious meal head here. This place was amazing and was very reasonable the price. If I was around for dinner I would defiantly go here.

  If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. I can say that if you are in Puerto Rico and don't stop at this restaurant you are doing yourself a disservice. My husband is vegan, I am vegetarian, and our kids are not, everyone of us found a dish which was exceptional in flavor, and beautifully presented. Cannot say enough great things about this place.

  Wonderful experience, both with food and staff. Plenty of options for all diets, including vegan and gluten free. Attentive staff are happy to answer any questions that you may have. Definitely recommend if you're ever in old San Juan.

  Had breakfast there yesterday and went back today. They have a breakfast casserole that was OUTSTANDING and a breakfast sandwich with sweet plantains, bacon and egg....OMG words can't describe how delicious it was. Our waiter Senor Ketziel was polite and patient (we had a 2yr. old) and had great recommendations. Definitely on our list of places to eat when we return.

  We had the most delicious lattes and breakfast here on our last day in PR! We had a great waitress who was so helpful with recommendations. You can't go wrong with any item on the menu. The gluten free options we awesome.
