Trappist Monastery is a place where anyone can experience serenity that's conducive to reflect and to pray. Within its vicinity, you can see the factory, Our Lady of the Philippines Trappist Abbey, guesthouse, chapel, gift shop and Monastic Enclosure (monks only). Across the street is the Trappist mango farm. I came here on this season of Lent and there were so many local tourists and visitors. The gift shop was crowded by visitors to buy some processed food stuff made by the self-reliant monks themselves. I entered the Trappist Abbey and witnessed the prayer hour of the monks. Most of the time they were singing beautifully. They encourage visitors to join them in their prayer, of course, there's a delineation of seats apart from the monks. Daily mass at 6:00 A.M. every morning.
    Date of visit - 3/16/18

This is a great stop for tourists pasalubong and for prayer.
They sell Trappist Abbey Products at their Tourist Shop.
This is a must stop when in Guimaras Island.
It's very accessible as it is just along the road.
Though it's a tourist destination, one must sincerely remember that it is a Monastery and Monks live there. Silence must be observed.

Peaceful and beautiful place. Nice place to visit and enjoy the tranquility far from the busy life of the city. You can also buy delicacies as well as souvenir items. What I love to buy from them is the rum balls! For those who really like the taste of liquor in a chocolate you'll definitely love it!

My review is focused on the Trappist Monastery gift shop, which offers export quality local baked delicacies. Items from the Trappist brand are also available at supermarkets, but it's cheaper to buy from the source. The selection is also wider compared to what is offered at the supermarkets in Iloilo City.

The Trappist mango biscocho is delightful!

Fitting place for a spiritual sabbatical not only during Lent but anytime of the year. They offer and administer retreat weekends for groups. For daytime visitors, there is a souvenir shop where not only religious articles are sold but also Guimaras food stuff and native delicacies produced by the Trappist monks themselves. Check out the chapel or Trappist Abbey nearby for some much-needed reflection. Walk. Pray. Reflect.
