Close to the US embassy, the Robinson's mall, close to many other attractions.
Friendly staff , especially friendly staff at the breakfast buffet.
Our room was clean and updated.
I will definitely book here on my next visit.

Hotel not very well maintained and room was moderately clean, but not up to reasonable standards. Staff seemed nice though. Some complain about the area, but a couple blocks walk to Robinson's isn't much to complain about.

You really can't say enough good things about this Hotel. It operates at a much higher level of Class than any Hotel at these and even MUCH HIGHER rates that I have had in any other country, especially America. I would REALLY like to mention each of these Wonderful Hotel staff by name, but of course in the interest of security, in this particular venu, I will not.

The Quality of the room I stayed in was excelent. I was not expecting near this nice of a room at this price. It had a snooty ceiling with a lot of box beam work outlined with natural wood finish trim and really tasteful and warm matching wall colors and decoration. The shower was powerful and warm and there were a lot of lights evenly placed around the room. Plenty of furniture, a fridge, plus all the usual stuff. My air conditioner worked too well.

If you actually had to do lot of business work the "office" desk with drawer and lamp, two outlets near there, and a suprisingly reliable and consistant internet service with a pretty decent bandwidth considering where you are. The desk's orientation and proximity to the bed make for a very large and accessable work area.

The poor ladies that operate the front desk started off with a new problem from the first day they saw me. I arrived basically 12 hours too early for check in when my jet arrived at midnight. Starting then the Desk Ladies and Door Guards did their best to accomodate me and and make me comfortable and even made me a 6 hour early check in which I could tell was dificult for them because there was no room already available and all the things it takes to get rooms ready for noon check in are done on a schedule in a precise order every day. The Hotel always went out of it's way to help me on any matter.

Due to plenty of bad planning and other mistakes on my part I have generated extra work and problems for the Ladies at the front desk. They have always handled everything with a smile and been a lesson in customer service. No matter how big of problems I created the Customer Service Ladies always handled it professionally and acted like it was a very small thing to them. I really don't know what to say about these ladies except that they know more about everything than I do. If you stay here you can trust and rely on the customer service.

Everybody else who works at the Hotel is just as great. Every so often they rotate the housekeepers that fix your room from one floor to another. These people are so good that you actually dread "rotation day" because you hate to see the last person that you saw every day leave, they are so cool. Some of these Housekeeping Staff are really sweet, neat people, men and women alike.

The thing I was most impressed with by far though were the Hotel Door Guards and Hotel Security. They went far beyond any job descriptions you might expect at any other hotel. These Guys are sharp as tacks. The door guards and security officers regularly offered you advice and tips on how to stay safe in the Hotel and outside in a friendly manner. They would just do this at random and without being asked.

The Hotel Guards seemed to observe you and offer you advice that was particularly tailored to keep you safe. The security staff seemed to be sincerely interested in your security and actively participate in providing for it. This being Manila these Door and Security Guys are probably the biggest part of the Bargain at the Executive Plaza Hotel.

The Guys at the front door are always smiling and trying to put everybody that goes by them in a good mood whether they are returning to the Hotel or leaving. Every one of them is a Goldmine in Information for just about anything you can imagine in the area. Hotel Security is probably worth the whole price of the room by itself.

If I ever come to Manila again there is ONLY one place that I intend to stay and that is the Executive Plaza Hotel for sure. If this review sounds kind of funny or excessive - good. Just come stay here yourself and you will see that EVERY SINGLE WORD IS TRUE!
