We stayed for 3D2N in this hotel,All i can say is I like their services. They are very polite and friendly.I booked 4 rooms for my family and what I saw from their website is same as we get. I am a frequent traveler and I could say, Subic has the most polite people second to Palawan.Thank you Peninsular hotel for helping my dad send to hospital.Cheers to all the staff!!

The room we got was definitely spacious. We stayed here on the New Year's Eve of 2017. Thumbs up for the cleanliness of the room, room service (house keeping), hot shower, the pool, the comfortable bed, and wifi. But thumbs down on the comfort, because of the various noise outside that is very much heard so clearly in our room. We got little sleep because of it. What are those noises? The door banging close, as well as the creaking sound of it. The beeping sound of our neighbors door whenever they enter their rooms (they have to push buttons of certain numbers to be able to enter the room), the footsteps of anyone walking in the hallway can be heard clearly inside the room.
How I wish the floors had been carpeted to avoid the noise of footsteps and the doors had a different kind of lock, something like the card just needs to be tapped, rather than pushing the number buttons that beeps so loudly. Hopefully they'll do some improvement about that.report this review -

Stayed there with my wife Oct 30-31. The Lobby is nice.Receptionist are nice enough. The room is large but simple.not the best view i got from our room. The pool is small.very different from the pictures posted. The Bathrooms needs improvements.Dirt and molds is very much visible.

We got a nice room. Bath was big and nice. :) The pool was great. The gym is fairly small and lacks equipment so no one was using it. Service was great.

Cockroaches in the room and washrooms, washrooms were either cleaned very poorly or not cleaned at all because there was urine on the floor and showers had balls of hair coming out of the drain. If you can avoid staying at this hotel, please do!

Ok for the price. NO CREDIT CARD, CASH ONLY. I was surprised that this hotel was supposed to be relatively new, because there are definite signs of wear inside the rooms. But beds were comfy, air conditioning was cool, hot water was adequate. WiFi was at 1-1.5 Mbps, acceptable for internet speed in public places in this country. The lobby was quite nice. Rest room in the lobby area were much nicer than the toilet inside the was rooms. Breakfast area was dated. Breakfast was served buffet style and had a handful of choices -- good for the hotels of this type and in the area. They served water, iced tea and coffee and Milo (chocolate) from machines during breakfast. Not very generous for late check-out requests, only gave us 30 mins extra, even though they are not booked full. There were plenty enough parking spaces for guests. Good location.

Hotel has a nice reception lounge. The guards and staff are typically courteous. And room is typically clean. However, there are a couple of things they might want to improve:
1. Door lock used in Shower door is a straw as seen in pictures. Management should take a look at this.
2. Gym equipment is not complete.
3. Breakfast buffet is very usual and served by most low star hotel.
4. I booked a promo with my wife. I was expecting a King sized bed but was given a twin bed instead. Did not complain anymore but they should be more sensitive to this issue of their guest.
5. The hot shower takes time to set in.
6. Bed has no top sheet just like in other hotels that is why it is not as comfortable.
