They should add more lights in the parking area.
Its was Nov 2 and we were just asking for chairs to sit on. The woman handling the chair distribution has no sense of common courtesy or at least minimal respect. I understand that it was only one chair if you are senior citizen or pregnant but the way she address me when I was just claiming one chair was condescending and immature to a woman of her age. And when I asked her where can we file a complain she said "go to the office its there" in a tone that conveys she is confident she will not receive any reprimand or consequences to her action. The consequences where families with no chairs sitting on the ground and seniors who are just standing most likely too scared to even be asking for a chair in the first place. The only personnel who was eager to help was the man on the middle of the stair case who was helping us on the middle of the staircase.
Aircon is very good at room 22O, spacious.
very nice and there so much space for parking and very safe
Easy to locate and spacious parking
They did a great job embalming my uncle in a timely manner. That's where their one star ends.
This place is a joke, and probably one of the reasons why death has such a negative image in this country. It's clear St. Peter Chapels wants money, and has zero experience in the "FamilyCare" side of the business - a funeral is for the living, not the dead. Their website shows they are DeathCare experts, and there is a stick figure of a body in a casket on their home page. As a customer, who would appreciate seeing a money-making corporation brag about how they handle a dead body? Did they even ask for feedback from their employees about what they think of this tagline, or if terms like E-Burol or E-Libing could be too aggressive for a grieving family? Can a money-making corporation like St. Peter Chapels not make an investment to provide a better, more presentable hearse like a Lincoln or Cadillac, rather than a Hyundai? Why can't they provide a better Internet connection for their online viewers; we have a 400+ Mbps connection in Calapan City, but yet this funeral home chain that easily makes hundreds of thousands of Pesos per customer can't even provide audio for loved ones watching online?
Then there's the time when I called the funeral home to ask if there are arrangements for my uncle. Nobody answered either of the two phone numbers I called, so I try their main customer care line, and they said only the funeral home can help me. After trying to reach their Laloma branch for seven hours, I called the customer care line again, which tried calling the funeral home directly; they admitted nobody was answering. What's the point of having a phone number if it's not going to be answered? What if a removal needs to take place - do I wait the 7+ hours with a dead body in my house? Step up your game, St. Peter Chapels.
Then, when it was time to pay, we were promised a package in the PhP140,000 range, but suddenly the price went up to PhP200,000, because "the original package was no longer available". Their level of dishonesty blows my mind.
I will never trust a member of my immediate family to St. Peter Chapels or any chain-based funeral home. Pick an independent funeral home and support a small business. They will treat you better, and with more respect than this place.
Why is this place so filthy?:Cracks in the floor tiles, uneven floors and corridors that are not mopped. The parking lot is full of trash. Dirty restrooms and stalls that are out of order. I've been to better maintained chapels.
