Sacred Heart Academy started as a Sunday catechism school in La Loma founded by the late Mrs. Luisa F. Kierulf in 1947. Being a fervent devotee of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Mrs. Kierulf named the school Sacred Heart Academy, La Loma (SHALL). Mrs. Luisa F. Kierulf's children and grandchildren have continued to seek the vision and mission of the School to provided quality christian education.
