I cannot help not to tell you , but one of the greatest Electrical Engineer that inspired me to pursue learning as an electrical code user is Engr. Florimundo L. Alava who is one of the starter of Adrian Wilson International Associate which is worth showing in your prominent alumni.

This is a good university but have some old equipments but when it comes to sports it's one of the greatest universities there is and even now it has bought a school close to it which is Nazareth school which is now NU-Nazareth or Nazareth school of national university (NSNU) and the school has turned more cooler and greater when they only put the college students there so yeah and it has a good education system the only thing is the students attitude is not that good but the school cannot control all of it because it's depending on the students it self but when the school knows about it the school acts very fast, the school has elevators and escalators who's is very convenient the school now has a project for the senior high students in front of it and also have a dentistry school in front of it too so for me it's really cool to learn here.

This is a good university, for me and for those who is like me that likes being alone. They have this place that you can stay for awhile while waiting for your next class, the wind is strong enough to make you feel comfortable. They provide nice benches and study tables. The school is well maintained, you can actually see people roaming around to clean the surroundings and classrooms. Although a lot of improvement is needed to be done (in classrooms, facilities, as well as to education they offer), this university is a nice place. They have good professors. The air-conditioning depends on how many students are in the room (the fact is some universities/colleges really do suffer from this issue).

I can say all of this because I am a transferee of this school and I came from one of the best engineering school in the PH whose matriculation fee is so high I cant afford knowing that I have a scholarship (not full).

This a perspective from someone who spent half of his college life in one of the best universities in the country, and spent the half of it here, in National University. I think this university is still growing, but as of the moment here's my review.

The campus is small; the laboratory equipments are old, the existing and functional equipments cannot accomodate the enrolled students in a class, sometimes you have to get another chair from another room because the chairs in your room are insufficient for the class; some of the professors are unprofessional, coming in late, or not coming in at all for a month, some does not teach properly; some of the students does not have discipline (I even saw someone spit on the hallway), the back of the classroom (even in front where the professor sits) becomes a charging station for phones of the students (not just only 2 or 3, more than 5! Some even bring their own extension), there's a lot of jejemon; the library is uncomfortable, it's noisy, the airconditioning is bad, it's literally a hallway to get to the other building, the number of books is okay not that many though; student organizations are not that active; Accounting and Registrar's office cannot accomodate the student population leading to very very very long lines; the rooms at the JMB gets hot and blinding because of the sun especially during the afternoon, makes the students hard to focus.

But, if you're okay with those things and want a private university with affordable tuition fee, escalator (yes, there's an escalator inside the campus), who wins a lot of UAAP competitions, this is the university for you.
