Fantastic relaxed hotel with superb restaurant and the rooms are the best I have found here on the island of borocay.
    Definitely a place to revisit

The rooms are very basic. The beach immediately in front is not the best as it has a lot of stones but if you walk only a hundred meters it becomes really nice. The Restaurant however has really good quality food, especially the seafood, and is reasonably priced. The hotel staff was very professional and helpful. The rooms and the hotel were very clean.

Our room smell like stale cigarettes. Staff seem clueless - absolutely not service oriented. Had a blast in hotels here in boracay for a fraction of the price. Shuttle service is unreliable.

If you want to have some time away from the hustle and bustle of Station 2, here's the perfect place for you. It's well-managed, with complete amenities and not too pricey.

A little bit far from the central area of beach and bars. The road to this hotel is not so good. However, the beach behind is really nice

Very good for relaxation and family time. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bring snacks, restaurant is open 7AM to 10PM. Free shuttle from 9AM to 12Midnight to & from Station 2. (D-Mall)

It is on the beach, but away from the crowds. The beach in front of Microtel is short and rocky. 30 minute scenic walk on the beach will get you to Station 2.

    Great bargain for the price.

Great location, idyllic beach front, AMAZING service. I have to disagree with the reviewer who said that the staff was clueless and not service oriented-- I don't think we were staying at the same hotel!!! Shout out to the staff- Miel, Joanne, and the rest of the crew. They were amazing. Very easy transport/transfer from Manila to Kalibo (it felt as if they had been chaperoning us from Manila-- everything was seamless). Shuttle to D'Mall was highly efficient. Okay, it cannot be that amazing right? Fine, maybe not soaring reviews on the free breakfast-- but this becomes such a small and irrelevant point when all things are considered.

I will recommend anyone to stay here at Microtel if you want to have an amazing Boracay beachfront experience. You're both removed from the busyness of Station 2-3, but close enough to walk over on the shore. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit. I cannot wait to go back. Cheers!
