McDrion Construction Management Corporation (McDrion) traces its roots in the late 1980s through its ancestor, Dowell Engineering and Inter-service Placement (DEIP), an entity established by Mr. Manuel Basio, and registered with the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB), with license classification under Category A as General Engineering and Building Contractor, and as Medium B Contractor for roads and buildings.

DEIP’s fruitful existence has garnered for its owner 13 years of solid actual experience in the vast area of engineering and construction, in consonance with workforce development and deployment. This experience bore a proprietary project management model that capitalizes the strength of its people, the efficiency of its systems and the integrity of its processes. Thus, improving overall project performance that positively impact the bottom line.

While DEIP is on the road to financial stability alongside acquisition of technical expertise through various projects it handles, the industry downturn in the late 1990s brought about by global economic upheaval was quite inevitable. This advert situation forced DEIP people to be resilient and put itself to the confine of limiting its business to few small projects a year until such time that the industry will re-stabilize.

The DEIP team, however, took advantage of its free time to advance their knowledge and skills and making themselves adept to emerging trends in the industry. Optimism drives their passion to discover new things and they make research, attending relevant seminars, conventions, and fora their bonding time.

McDrion Construction Management Corporation came into being to continue the legacy started by DEIP, but with streamlined technical services offering. Established in November 2007, McDrion was registered with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), with registration number CS2007-18130, to serve as a corporate vehicle for the new strategic industry positioning as conceptualized by the, now McDrion team, to target projects of higher scale, both locally and abroad.

McDrion’s carries service offerings that underscore four (4) major areas, namely: Pre-Construction, Engineering, Construction Management, Mining and Quarrying.
