This hotel offers one of the most affordable hotel rooms to most people in the country, from budget rooms to high-end ones. Our room was a Grand Deluxe, it was big and spacious. There was a bath tub in it, in which my nephew was very fond about. The view is spectacular. Now for the outdoors, Marco Polo has an outdoor pool, it was clean and literally crystal clear. Anyways, everything in this hotel is almost perfect, there were also a few things that kinda disappointed me. It was there cheap and old-looking hairdryers. That was my only concern about this hotel. Anyways, that's all!

A little too far from restaurants, shopping. Although they have free shuttle service to SM, Ayala mall, etc, the traffic in the city is crazzzyyyy!!!!! Nonetheless, great service in this hotel, they have a nice pool and a band every night for a very relaxing night cap. Their buffet is something I highly recommend. Our reservation came with daily buffet breakfast and they have the food selectiln on point. A little bit of everything you will crave for in the morning. They even served us a plateful of fresh ripe mangoes. Yum!!!

Marco Polo will always in the heart of every Cebuano. So many good memories here. Unfortunately, there are now better hotels in the city. Regardless, it is still a landmark. I hope they keep up their outstanding service.

This hotel is great and budget-friendly. I gave it three stars. The rooms were not very soundproof as you can hear people out in the hall and above you and on each side of you in your room. Hotel laundry was great did an excellent job with all the clothes. Staff was very very nice. Though for a little more money you could stay at the Radisson.

We like the Christmas Eve mass, food was really good. A lot of food you can choose to eat. The swimming pool is just right for the kids, not so deep. Clean beds and the staff were friendly. We sometimes can't eat the buffet because a lot of people were in a queue. But it's okay, you can have an option for room service anyway. We had a great time there.

Good standard hotel, though some of the decor is a little dated. Service is very good, and three did and drink upstairs in the Blu Bar is excellent. Large pool was mostly empty web I was there.

The Café Marco Breakfast Buffet is one of the best if not THE best breakfast buffets in town! So many stations in the buffet, food & drinks are tasty plus constantly updated, subdued lighting for a very relaxing, lazy-day breakfast vibe, overlooking the poolside on one side and nicely landscaped garden on the other. Paying for a stay to enjoy the breakfast is worth every penny.

I enjoyed the staff service here in Marco Polo. I didn't have to wait and they are quick during the check-in. The food on their buffet were yummy compared to Waterfront Hotel! I loved the view!!! They have hot water which is a plus, tub-even though it wasn't as big for my liking, CLEAN, and I loved the bathroom (I mean it's a must especially the toilet seats lol). However, Marco Polo doesn't have that much options in terms of restaurants in the area, the location is a but far and it's not nearby to any walking distance like mall or stores.

At first it was like negative feeling about the place. when i booked the room it was stated a decent price. when booking the price was 30% higher due to some added fees for breakfast etc, they also charged me 1500 pesos incidental fee which came as a surprise but found out it will be returned upon check out, The Staff was great, The Hotel is immaculate and very beautiful. so once i was here a day or so it then became a 5star rating. I may never return but I will miss the staff as they we sweet and kind. there is no regrets staying at this fine hotel.
