PHILOSOPHY

Living Hope Baptist Church Christian Academy Incorporated believes that each child is created in the image of God. Ephesians 2:10 state that “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do works which God prepared in advance for us to do”. It is, therefore, the aim of LHBC CAI to develop the child to become in the home, school, church, and society.

THE SCHOOL CULTURE

Living Hope Baptist Church Christian Academy Incorporated believes that Christ-like character should be first. The teachers and staff model the character we teach. Teaching character happens in and out of the classroom.

Biblical Values in the Christian School Community

a. Each one is expected to respect each other. To respect means being courteous, obedient, polite, submissive, and tolerant. (Ephesians 4:2; I Corinthians 13:4-5)

b. Each one is expected to be responsible in word and deed.
To be responsible is to be alert, honest, industrious, reliable, and self-disciplined. (Luke 167:20; I Corinthians 13:6-7)

c. Each one is expected to be resourceful. To be resourceful is to be ambitious, creative, discerning, successful, and wise. (Proverbs 16:2; Ephesians 5:15-16)
d. Each one is expected to be resolute. To be resolute is to be diligent, to endure, faithful, and persevering. (Matthew 25:21; Hebrews 12:2)
e. Each one should be receptive. To be receptive is being attentive, cooperative, fair, and flexible. (Hebrews 5:8; Proverbs 2:1-5)
