The Independent Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippine Islands (IGLPI) established in 2006, has ten regular lodges and two lodges under dispensation. It promotes participation of its lodges in community extension projects for public education and environmental preservation like “Adopt a Public School Program” and the “River Siloy Ecology (Watershed Conservation) Project” in the upland town of Indang, Cavite. Its lodges also regularly conduct Medical/Dental missions and blood letting campaigns. The IGLPI research and education arm is the Philippine Center for Masonic Studies (PCMS), an autonomous body mandated by its constitution to conduct historical and Masonic research; develop educational and training programs, and serve as resource for symposiums and seminars. The PCMS issues the IGLPI Journal the annual publication of the Grand Lodge.
