Immanuel Adventist Academy is a privately owned high school founded by Ms. Lydia Tayrus on June 17, 2013.
This is God's answer to Lydia's life-long search on how she could be used to glorify God. The realization of her vision took three years of unceasing prayers, personal financial sacrifice, unconditional support from her family and friends and most of all, God’s miracles and direction. The bulk of financial support for this academy comes from Lydia's income as a nurse in US.
During its first year of operation, the IAA has a total of 24 students, freshmen and sophomores combined (17 of which are non-SDA).
