A truly wonderful place. It's filled with Lord of the Rings references and the staff are so friendly it's almost embarrassing. The drink menu is extensive and the food is good for bar food (the portions are not huge, but you get enough). The live music was great. The location is inconvenient as much of the nightlife of Manila has moved away from the waterfront.

Really nice place to visit, already the entrance is a big surprise. The friendly staff is the reason to visit this place and its great that they can make a living this way! Dwarfism is still not really accepted in this country and these people started their own business and make a living in a respectfull way !

the place has a cool, quirky vibe. the staff were friendly and attentive. they also had great live music. the food was pretty average. and if you're vegetarian there aren't any good options. I had to ask them to make something and it wasn't great. but if you're intrigued by the small waiters and lord of the rings theme then go for it.

Is a very well set up bar. Staff were not dressed as you would ecpect in a bar of its name. Location seems a bit out of the way. Street dont have a safe feel.

Every night the Hobbit House left me with a story to tell and a warm feeling in my heart. From drinking with Trump's bodyguards to singing House of the Rising Sun to a Filipino mayor, it's always a good night at the Hobbit House. Some may argue this niche bar is outdated, but look past the quirky decor and you see a family of waiters, a safe place and an impressive selection of ales. Highly recommended for the lone traveller.

Memories, memories from the good old days of guitar acoustic balladeers. Freddie Aguilar featured here many years ago. Nice music, and quick cheerful service by short friends. Happy to visit them regularly!

With all the little people, I expected more of a "magical" experience, but they all seemed pissed off about their self-imposed exploitation and might have spat in our food. If they did, I don't care, because the food was good! I had the rib eye steak which came smothered in sauce (which I normally dislike; I want just the meat when I order a steak). It was perfectly cooked and the sauce was surprisingly tasty. All the other dishes we sampled were good, too, but the one that really sticks in my memory was the sisig, which might be the best I've had, at least in a restaurant: superb and surprisingly spicy (spicier than the Bicol Express we had in another, fancier restaurant).

The live entertainment was truly horrific, to the point of being amusingly terrible. You know about the theme and interior already: they keep it dark so you don't notice how much everything has faded.

Don't expect a lot of laughs unless you provide them yourself (as my group did: we had a splendid time), but you WILL enjoy the food.

Unique ambiance with midgets for servers. The place is a bit rundown. Good food. Patronized by foreigners. Live band music.

The greatest atmosphere! Everyone was super helpful, conversational, on point with their customer service. A large variety of beers and food, as well as a large selection of liquors to choose from. Live, acoustic music nearly every night. Takes pesos, US, and credit cards.
