Ara na gid! :) :) :)
It was so worth it! So magically awesome! Very few have gone there yet! We are so happy we made it...we are still cherishing all these moments! Thanks Teeroy Leslie, Cyra and our little triumphant adventurer and totally brave and supportive dad for bringing us here...me and Francois could not have made it alone! Happy exploring Sipalay guys! :) :) :)
Climbing on high and big rocks...quite a real challenge guys! It's not easy, believe me! You've got to have strong stamina! :) :) :)
Pooling...so many water pools here! We just stopped counting...they are all beautiful! :) :) :)
Almost getting there...seemed to be endless but we kept on going...we knew something is so greatly hidden, waiting for us up there! :) :) :)
The group on the go! :) :) :)
In a far and remote place of Sipalay there is a very rusty hanging bridge over a river that led us to nature's hidden treasure of a cascading and beautiful waterfall! :) :) :)
Thanks to Teeroy Leslie for the wonderful photos! We could never have such photos without your camera and light! :) :) :) See our most little adventurer here! Never afraid of the dark in there! He cried once because he wanted to rush to the cave...his using the baby pacifier is only for a habit! Lol :) :) :)
We drove for about less than ten minutes from Punta Bulata Beach Resort and went on board at around three o'clock in the afternoon to start our tour of the three dive sites. We anchored at the Julien's wreck. The mystery of the shipwreck of M/V Guimaras remains sunken there since many decades ago and now covered and inhabited with magnifiscent and colorful corals and fishes. I thought of memorizing the corners, rooms, and openings of the sunken ship since we were bound to com...e back here at nightfall to do again the adventure in nightime scene with latest uv lights for our torch. It would be a one of a kind snorkeling experience for us to see the waterworld in a different light. Next stop we went to the ever majestic reefs of Danjugan Island. It was my first time for my snorkelling experience to swim with the most number of fishes like thousands of them around us. All colorful of them just on the side of the lush reef and the dark deep beneath. They were so undisturbed and secured of their place I could almost touch them. The third stop was a new spot for discovery near the old port of the ruins of the closed copper mine. It's the place where the richness of copper in Sipalay was transported successfully out from the mainland so that this old port pictures the lively and wealthy activities about half of a century ago. It was exact time for night to fall so we proceeded back to the shipwreck and had the necessary briefing for the adventure. Each one of us was handed with a torch and we jumped to the exciting scenery of flourescing corals under the uv lights of our guide. Thankfully there were no enormous shark lurking around. Indeed it's a different thing to see, I saw different fishes from the fishes I saw at daytime. There were the red snappers and baby lobsters lazily finding their sleep inside the cabins of the shipwreck. The glowing, flourescing corals were a dear sight to behold. It was such a huge day of experience for me as I've conquered some of my fears. For all you know it was only my husband who taught me how to swim at my age of 33 then. And I was at my comfort zone to just know how to float because that was the only time I really believed that it's possible for my body to float. By the way, it was this very day of my first time to wear life jacket so the whole experience was mind blowing! I thought my new friend, the little girl beside me in the picture and her big sister are so lucky and brave to have experienced this at a very young age. So big thanks to Sir Troy and his team for inviting and guiding us and I encourage you guys to experience with the most competent and equippeddiving team here in Sipalay! Conquer the awesome waterworld of Sipalay and contact them guys! Don't miss it out guys! :) :) :)
