  Despite being on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world this hotel didn't really have much in the way of amenities. The tv in the room was very small, the shower head did not work. After going for a swim we came back into the room and found a cockroach that was 1" to 2" in length...disgusting. there were also ants in the room. The bed only had a cover sheet on it.
  
  On the plus side, I enjoyed getting a couple massages at 350 pesos for 1 hour. The hotel staff was friendly, but that was not nearly enough to overcome the negatives that we experienced there. We were only there for 3 nights. If it were any longer I think we may have found a new place, and we will definitely not be staying there ever again. There are so many other better places to stay on Boracay Island.

  When we arrived at this resort we were extremely thirsty and dehydrated because of the journey we've been. After we checked in the man who led us to our bedroom quickly toured us around the bedroom. We said to him we were extremely thirsty. My mate opened the mini fridge under the TV unit and we saw half bottle of water. The man quickly took the bottle. We told him to leave the bottle as we were thirsty. He said to us the bottle was belong to the last guests. We said we can drink it. He replied it's not belongs to us. He never offered whatsoever a glass of water. It's a disgrace not to offer some water for your guests if they just arrived. As we inspect the bedroom the toilet has no extractor/ventilation. The sink was about to collapse. The water heater sometime don't work so we had to shower cold water. Very noisy on the opposite resort as you'd hear their non stop screaming and singing during the night. To use the reception toilets most of it flush not working, no toilet seat, no toilet tissue and no sink to wash your hands. It was a big mistakes having this resort as an accommodation in a beautiful island. I would never ever recommend this to anyone going to Boracay.

  Nice hotel in a perfect location
  I have been at the Eclipse with friends and family in December 2014. We booked 3 rooms for 4 nights and we spent a little less than 30€ per person per night. The rooms were right after the entrance maximum 15 meters from the sea. They were clean and a bit spartan but considering the standards of the tropical islands of South East Asia the rooms are nice. The bathrooms are definitely very poor but still clean. The staff is awesome and super friendly making their self the real plus of the hotel! The location of the hotel is perfect, it is in the middle of the main beach not far from the clubs but still not in the middle of the caos. Personally I have never heard any noise during the night. The hotel is also very safe and in the night there is a police man at the entrance of the hotel who check the safety of the venue. In conclusion, when I will come back to this marvellous island I will probably go again to the Eclipse resort!

  Eclipse is a best place to stay. I give 2 thumbs up. From the Owner Marissa down to her employees. They are so good friendly and approachable. I recommend Eclipse to everyone who will visit Boracay.
