Before the sea got rough, before the first storm of the year hit the Philippines and gave people the feeling that summer was already over on April, we experienced Anilao.

Dive & Trek is one of the dive resorts there. For 1,100 PhP per head you can enjoy a whole day of snorkelling (day trip non-diving package). This already includes a round trip boat ride to the resort, buffet lunch, afternoon snack and free flowing drinks. Pay 50 pesos extra for the parking area in the main land. You will pass Ligpo Island on the boat ride which is surrounded by a deep reef. A good part of the reef is what divers call the Highway where many schools of fishes rush by.

Overnight non-diving package is 3,050 PhP per head. Intro dive package is 2,500 PhP.

Mental note: someday buy a reasonably priced water proof, shock proof, freeze proof, dust proof, crush proof, pocket-sized compact camera with image stabilization, HD movie mode and ISO3200 or higher.

Lunch was good and there were plenty to choose from. Afternoon snack that day was turon.

On the boat ride going home you can see Mount Maculot in the horizon.

It's a one stop shop for beach goers, price is relatively affordable compare to other resorts, because of their scuba amenities.

The beautiful corals are just located in front of their resort, and made a sanctuary for the fish.

Definitely recommended for beginner divers. It's a great place to learn, earn your dive hours, gain your confidence in the water. There are a range of sites that go from easy to challenging, just within reach of the resort. Even access to the sites is easy on the knees, as the house reef is great and just a giant stride away. Food is great. The resort is spacious. The staff's friendly. It's a place you'll keep coming back to & they'll remember your name.

Reasonable price. Nice and secluded - good spot for scuba diving and snorkelling.

The dive sites are accessible via shore or quick boat ride. The place is very well organized and ample space to dry out your gear. The food is also excellent. The only downside is no tv or internet in the rooms and cellular signal is spotty. All in all its a great place to unplug and enjoy diving or snorkeling

It would be great if no one throw trash inside the ocean
