HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
Cabatuan Parochial School was founded in June of 1989 and was first named as Cabatuan Parish Kindergarten School. The laudable idea of opening a kindergarten school was the brainchild of of the then incumbent parish priest, Msgr. Amadeo Escañan who realized the urgent need to open a preparatory school. The Board of Trustees was created to act as the policy-making body of the school. Msgr. Escañan acted as the chairman with Atty. Estefano V. Caspe, then president of the Parish Pastoral Council as co-chairman. The officers of the Parish Pastoral Council and the assistant parish priest automatically becomes the member of the board. The Board of Trustees named Dr. Lucrecia T. Murga and Miss Remedios Licera as the directress and principal of the school respectively.
Ten years after, Cabatuan Parochial School had aquired its legal entity as a non-stock, non-profit educational institution. It was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with Registration No. E19990056 dated July 14, 1999. School year 2000-2001 the school offered a Grade I curriculum, a starting point for elementary curriculum.
On September 29, 2004 the Board of Trustees passed resolution no. 3, series of 2004 entrusting Cabatuan Parochial School to the Board of Trustees of the Archdiocese of Jaro. The incumbent parish priest, Rev. Fr. Norberto Tacadao and Mrs. Luvisminda Claves was named as Director and OIC-Principal of the school, respectively.

The school administration through its director requested the assistance from the Dominican Sisters to assist the school on its operation. A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was entered into between the Archdiocese of Jaro and the Dominican Sisters. Based on the said MOA three (3) sisters were assigned to the school namely: Sr. Mary Ruth Villanueva, O.P., was named principal, Sr. Milagros Caperig and Sr. Maria Kristhen Batuigas were named as teachers on Computer and Christian Living subjects respectively.
