The Cooperative Movement for Encouraging No-Scalpel Vasectomy (CMEN) was organized with the primary objective of contributing to the assurance of safe motherhood by promoting NSV among other family planning methods as a mechanism for men to be more responsible for family planning and reproductive health concerns of women.
These pictures were from engagement with now President Digong Duterte for World Vasectomy Day a few months back, and the National No-Scalpel Vasectomy (NSV) Convention 5-years ago.... Since then, Dr. Sam Cruz and his team of NSV surgeons in Davao City continued to perform no-scalpel vasectomy in the City and in outreach settings, are part of the World Vasectomy Day promotion for more male contraceptive responsibility and the Davao City Health-Population Office team is a partner of NSV International, and have become one of the outstanding examples of Male Involvement for Safe Motherhod (MISMO) with the Cooperative Movement for Encourging NSV.
