  I just want to share my experience dealing with Caloocan City Hall. I am an OFW and just this January 2018, I went home to Philippines with my fiance and we started to process for the marriage license. I agreed to the date they told me that the license will be released January 12, 2018 to the new city hall building. I went there on that day and it happened that I arrived noon time and I was instructed to wait because the staff in that releasing section wasn't there yet. I waited for almost 3 hours, haven't took my lunch that time and I was hoping I could already get the document and go home because I have to prepare other things for my wedding since it would be the next day. But the staff there were not releasing the document and even some of the staff from the HR department which I asked for help were not helping me for the document I was claiming because they kept on asking a family planning cert. wherein I have shown them the receipt that I told them I went to that section. When I called my sister from the CSC and she talked the person in charged in that releasing section, it was only the time that they did the necessary action for me to get the paper I am claiming. Nakakalungkot lang po kasi I asked for the expedite process but still I waited 10 days and on that day that I was assured to get that document, I was so disappointed because I saw that most of the people working there are just working without real heart of service. I hope that everyone of us whether we are working in government or private agencies will always have the willingness and heart to do our responsibilities that were assigned to us. In that way, we are not only helping others, but we are showing respect and discipline to ourselves that contribute success to our national goals. I hope we should look more on the welfare of others hindi na po kailangan kontakin pa ang kakilalang mayor, or sino pa or si president para gawin natin yung obligations and responsibilities natin. Our heart to help is already enough.
