For a Tarlac hotel this is 5 star! Great service and the food is all good. Fresh daily with quick room service and options for inroom massage. I'd say book early because there seems to be weddings or something going on all the time. The shower takes a while to warm up, especially in the day. So I had a few cold showers.

Location was good..akma lang din yung price and all staff are accommodating and specially the food is also good..😙😙 when we're stay in tarlac we always choose La Maja Rice Hotel

If you end up staying in Tarlac City for some reason, this is the best place to stay. Friendly staff, well priced food and drinks, and clean rooms. I believe it had been renovated recently before my stay, and everything felt new. Front desk was courteous and helpful, and there are plenty of places a short tricycle ride away to eat or shop.

This is an inexpensive hotel compared to the other ones. They have newly built rooms at the back which look really modern. It has good location. It is close to SM (trike 25-30php), convenience store across the street,near bus stations (you can walk or ride the trike). The staff are really nice and helpful. However there are several problems with our stay. 1)BUGS-there are a lot of bugs coming from the window which probably wasn't installed properly. It was everywhere in our beds,table,floors..etc. There are also dead bugs at the window which are missed by the cleaners as the blinds were down so make sure you double check this when entering the room. 2)DUSTY FLOORS- the floors are wooden which is nice. However,they dont give slippers (does not matter) BUT they should have mopped the floors at least because it was really dusty. Just a couple of steps and the bottom of my feet is black. I ended up cleaning the floor with wipes instead 3)SHOWER- the shower in our room was not properly designed. The floor is always wet and muddy(because of dusty floors) due to lack of cover at the side of the tub which doesn't go past the middle. To make things worse they don't give enough towels.
Also some problems includes pools not maintained at night (lots of dirt and bugs),cleaning and towels by request only, wifi really slow/none at all at the new bldgnot all cable channels work. Ongoing renovation at the front that makes it a bit unsafe as workers are continuously working while people pass by below them.
Overall,except our experience with bugs, I might stay again when I visit Tarlac. I hope they imporve. Two stars-one for the price and the other star for the helpful staffreport this review -

The newly renovated rooms are very nice but the air conditioning is terrible. Our first room didn't get cooler than 25°C/77°F after 2 hours. The second room was the same. 2.5 hours later the third room was ok. Staff are really not helpful. The included breakfast choice was very small and the portion size tiny. We had to buy another breakfast just to feel fed. The in room coffee was not drinkable. The brewed coffee from the restaurant was tasteless. They were renovating the lobby and the path was dangerous. Dogs barking all night long. Bright light bulb directly outside the window.
