Order the fried Tilapia! its super good! Place is also ok and homey ;)
We went there together with my friends yesterday. After our camping night in Bangkong Kahoy Valley. We decided to have a short trip to Sampalok Lake and took pictures and biking around the infamous lake. We haven't eaten our lunch yet that's why we decided to try this cafe the ambiance is so-so and I noticed first was the dog its walking around the cafe althoug it didn't harm us or the other guests. Long story short I was really disappointed to our food that we ordered the pork binagoongan, the shrimp paste they used on it , its looks like half cooked and the sinigang that my friends oredered for himself and to his gf the meat is less compare to the thicker fat portion of the pork and even the buttered chicken the worst btt. chicken I've taste. The over price of their food cannot compensate the taste even the service of their staff. The only good thing about this place is the over looking view of the SP lake.
Worst halo halo I've eaten so far And French fries so soThe views are nice though
nice ambiance, serving of food is a bit of a wait
For locals this is highway robbery. Maybe tourists may be more tolerant. The place faces Sampaloc Lake which is beautiful. But there is no good parking spaces and the food is so-so. There is music at night, and that I guess makes up for most of what it lacks. Still, do not let me stop you from visiting. The view is worth it. Go around 4 to 5 just when the sun sets. Pay for the reflection on the lake.
It's a small and cozy coffee/resto overlooking Sampaloc Lake. Great-tasting and reasonably-priced foods. Big servings. Their sinigang na pork and glazed tofu are a must-try! The staff were all nice and welcoming. Only setback was since it's a garden setting and plants were everywhere, i got a lot of insect bites after having our lunch there. Maybe it would be best to have an insect repellant lotion handy. Also at the time we were around, there were two dogs lying around the resto. One was this big white dog, i think Siberian Labrador and another was a black Aspin. Although they may appear just as harmless as they look, i feel uneasy because i have been bitten by a dog in the past. And the thought of being attacked again makes me feel uncomfortable. I am pro-pets and I love dogs too. I am just sharing based on my personal opinion and experience. Restroom isn't PWD/senior citizen-friendly, needs to climb a few steps to get to the comfort room. But it's clean and has running water working just fine.
We came at a time that we were able to have the place to ourselves. We were a very big group so it helped that the people there just had us to look after.
The place was clean, food was very good and affordable, the servers were courteous and accommodating. It's a good place to come back to again and again.
And about that dog, whatever they say, it's great to have that dog there. It adds to the character of the place and it's a good conversation subject.
Good food with a nice view of Sampaloc Lake. Must try the tofu sweet and chili.
There is a big dog that goes around and asks for food. Really cute but breaks sanitation standards. ..
If you happen to visit San Pablo make this a part of your itinerary. By the way, don't expect too much from the place. Simple ambiance with a hearty meal.
They offer the best Suman i've ever tasted. Not to mention , I finished 2 plates of suman. A chilling cafe near Sampaloc Lake. We tasted their Halo Halo, Pasta Marinara and Suman.
Small restaurant fronting the lake. Should have opening the walls for a view. Food is ok. Comfort room needs work and not accessible for the disabled. Street parking only so may not be enough during peak hours.
