If one of the diagnosis for your car is leaking power steering pump, chances are it is not true. Ask the mechanic to clean the fluid that was poured into your car's power steering pump, refill the fluid reservoir, and you are good. I think there is a scam going on here and if you don't watch over your car while it is being serviced, you will end up repairing things that are not really broken.
TIP: Before getting your car serviced, check for fluid leaks so you know if diagnosis is real or not.
