Citi BJJ - Founded by a team composed of individuals sharing the same passion for the sport. Established on the 7th of February 2017 following an unexpected dissolution, a group of friends found a new home in the heart of Cebu. The beginning was humbling, started with a brainstorming of what kind of BJJ culture we want to yield – a discipline more than a hobby, a passion more than a sport, a brotherhood more than just a team, thus, we ended up in building a family not bound by blood.

Our team is built from bits and pieces of each team member put together to create a solid whole. Individual ideas, knowledge and skills shared to launch a better training ground. In Citi BJJ we vow to promote a healthy environment for all members by embracing the “no politics” virtue. Also, we aim to form a concrete BJJ foundation and to advance skills and experience. We, further oath to create a nurturing nest for the new and a continuous learning platform for the old, as we all grow together – united.
