TogetherWeArePNG is a campaign initiated by Papua New Guinea community organisation Kapul Champions which encourages reflection on the diversity that is innate to PNG; a diversity that is internationally recognized and equips PNG with a unique national identity that should be embraced and celebrated.
TogetherWeArePNG is particularly focused on raising awareness in the lead up to the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia on 17 May 2014.
TogetherWeArePNG is about challenging discrimination, challenging stigma and promoting inclusivity to foster a PNG that is based on respect, understanding, support, community, social justice and equality and a PNG where every citizen, every person, every individual has the opportunity to live a healthy, rewarding and peaceful existence.
Support TogetherWeArePNG if you, like us, believe that all people should be valued and respected and that through sharing and supporting difference, and resisting discrimination and intolerance, PNG will be enriched and empowered to build an inclusive future.
