Lawducate is a legal education platform for non-lawyers, law enthusiasts, professionals, legal secretaries, SME operators, and law consumers in general.

Our audacious mission is to “make legal knowledge common knowledge”. We want to help people obtain a basic understanding of law that’s relevant and useful for them in every day life. We hope that with our help you will be able to understand basic legal concepts that confront you daily. We hope that you will be able to tackle... simple legal tasks that lawyers usually charge a high price for.

We believe that law should not only be accessible, it should be understandable for people who have to consume it and live by it. We believe legal services should not cost people their arms and their legs. We believe that access to and comprehension of the law helps them access justice.

The law is usually deemed as incomprehensive to the layman’s mind. But with our simple courses delivered for ordinary folk, we want to help people think like lawyers. We want to help ordinary folk draft simple legal documents such as contracts, affidavits, simple company constitution, simple court documents, and so on.

Here are some comments by participants at our first course last year: “I am just a layman...but with your examples, the points discussed were so clear and can be differentiated well” “Generally a well-presented, simple course. I very much appreciate it.” “One of the best presentations I’ve had in PNG!...Empowered to read the Constitution as well as the Policy-Bill-Act process.”

Lawducate has a strong network of experienced and qualified lawyers who also believe in spreading legal education to the world, standing by to deliver simple lessons on various fields of law.
