    I rented a car in Lima for second time in least than a year and everything works fine. The first time, I picked up the car in Barranco and dropped at airport and second time, picked up from airport and dropped it in Budget Barranco. No issues, fair price, and good service.

    We sent a rep from our company to Peru, we regrettably recomended budget of Lima since Budget is usually a quality place in other countries. He was rear ended in a desolate place on the panamaerican highway (a place where many have been robbed.) He called the rental office to report the crash. They told him to wait, where he did for an hour with thousands in cash and his passport after the other party involved left the scene. They were unable to contact him afterward and he had to make multiple COSTLY international calls. Eventually his phone died. Our rep took photos of the accident, identifications, and registrations of the other cars involved. They were not even willing to take the pictures/evidence and show it to the insurance company. Once his phone died he drove away, charged his phone and went to a Peruvian police station. At least the police were willing to look at his pictures and filed his report (which budget was not impressed by and dissmissed.) It seems just seemed easier to not cover us and start making multiple large transactions to his company card without warning or concent until the bank cancelled the card due to possible fraud and left him in a foreign country without his company card. After returning the car, attempts to get them to email us the their insurance info and a point of contact have been in vain. They often do not pick up the supposed 24 hr line, they cant call our international phones, and they will not communicate through email. We could go on, but you get the point. We would suggest going with better rated options. Again, they have no sent any of the requested emails and have never reached us by phone. They claim they have been in business for 40 years... Thanks to the internet and the democratization of information they either won't be or dramatically chage the way the conduct business.

    Terrible experience. I will never forget the horror that took place today. May Pachamama curse the families of every employee that played a part in this disaster. I spit on you. On and around all of you.

    Look somewhere else for a rental car. I would not recommend this agency.

    No renten carro por medio de esta agencia, no es recomendable.

    Very high prices!! I recommend to read and put a lot of attention to the contract. It can be cheaper take a flight than rent a car.

    I rented a car from them on 28th January, they took an authorization on my CC for the warranty. I returned the car the same day. Instead of voiding the hold for the warranty they charged the warranty $1107. When I advised them of what happened they told me I was wrong and that they didn't charge me. But I can clearly see it on my side. The executive sales person Alisson was very rude and kept insisting I am wrong. I am still waiting for my money to be returned!!

    TOTAL DISASTER SORRY TO AGREE WITH ALFRED RAMOS BUT TOTALY ADREE THE NAME OF THE OPERATION MANAGER KARINA SOTOMAYOR THIS LADY DON'T HAVE ANY COSTUMER SERVICE SKILLS ,TOTALLY USELESS ,THIS LADY SHOULD BE REMOVE FROM THIS POSITION,THE WAY THAT SHE TREAT ME AND MY PARENS WAS INACEPTABLE ,I LEFT KEY INSIDE VEHICLE I CALL SET AN APPOINTMENT TO PICK UP OTHER KEY SHE COME WITH THE BS THAT FIRTS I HAVE TO PAY AND SECOND I HAVE TO WAIT FOR A WEEK.SHE TELL ME,IN PERU BUDGET WORKS DIFERENT THAN USA I THINK THIS FRANCHISE SHOULD CANCEL CONTRACT WITH THIS PROVIDER

    I had the distinct displeasure of having to deal with these people in Lima. Specifically, the manager of operations, who's name I will leave out. She treated us rudely, refused to help us after he staff made administrative mistakes and left us stranded in the middle of nowhere after she held on to the car they had promised us over the phone. The type of service that she herself gave was so insulting and so far below what I expect from a company like Budget that I will never rent a car from them again. I don't typically write these types of reviews but her behavior was astonishing to my entire family and cannot go unnoticed.
