  We had high expectations reading all the reviews... were very disappointing when we got there at lunch time and they were out of the drink we wanted and one of the dishes we came for. Food was OK but not thaaaat special, especially considering the prices.

  Great food, good atmosphere and they have a few, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free dishes on the menu, the ribs were also very good though... The dishes are quite creative and they have a weekly menu in addition to the regular one. Not cheap, but for us, worth every penny.

  Our party of four dined at Colibri on a Saturday night, two nights ago. It was a bit difficult to find and clearly needed a sign indicating that it was a restaurant. We found the entrance and grounds to be very attractive and the decor elegantly simple and well designed. The place was empty on a Saturday night, except for our party.
  The menu was extensive with a number of interesting choices, from the appetizers to the desserts. I chose the soup course of creamy pumpkin soup with coconut milk and herbs and at that point... I mentioned to all at the table that I would have been satisfied with nothing more than a gallon of the soup ! My entree choice was the lobster ravioli that was creatively
  plated and equally excellent.
  The highlight of the evening was the superb service and the fact that the staff was well trained and knowledgeable about proper wine service.
  During the meal, the four of us were concerned that this restaurant should have had a line stretching out the door, it was that good ! We spoke to the owner to express both our pleasure as well as our concern that Boquetenos don't seem to know this restaurant.
  I ( we ) recommend that you look for Colibri and enjoy it as much as we did, it's That good.

  Always a culinary treat. The owners are great and their wonderful menu keeps getting better. A great place for a quiet dinner and a bottle of wine

  The main dishes are good. The bread wasn’t fresh at the time tho. There are suggestion tips on the bill stating from 18% is annoying tho.

  Amazing Food presented in a very beautiful way. Very good Service. Visited for lunch and Dinner - best restaurant so far in panama! Nothing comparable in Boquete and very reasonable prices!
  If you are in boquete and want local, good food - go there!

  This restaurant is overrated. When I read the reviews it makes me wonder how many of these people are related to the owners. One of the reviews calls this the best restaurant in all of Panama. Apparently this traveler has not eaten in very many restaurants in Panama. At best this restaurant is average.

  The restaurant is classy and well decorated with local artist drawings of wildlife. Tasteful music plays softly in the background allowing for conversation. The food is excellent as is the service. It is a little out of the way but worth the trip. You can choose to dine out on the beautiful terrace or inside. On both visits we have enjoyed the ambience and our meals.

  We had the most experiential experience when we went there for dinner, that it was so good we had to go back. We had the fish of the day which was prepared to perfection along with grilled vegetables that were outstanding! On the next night I wanted to order lobster with risotto, but they didn't have lobster. Daniele made a risotto dish for me with lobster bisque and shrimp. Just superb! Daniele and Carolina are amazing people which made our visits amazing!

  We came in with high expectations as this restaurant was recommended by the main chef at Big Daddy's restaurant that we liked. We ordered coffee bisque, ceviche, and pork ribs. Coffee bisque was overly sweet and carried little coffee flavour. Pork ribs were extremely dry, it was difficult to eat even with the sauce that it came with. Overall, highly disappointed as many dishes on the menu looked promising, but the execution was lacking.
