Nice walk for a day activity. We arrived at 14:00 which means you walk toward the swimming area in the sun, and can return (after about 2 hours) in the shade... Be prepared to swim, because you will miss the real beauty of this place without it...

All people say about this place is true. Really amazing nature. The little walk, which is like an adventure throuhg the wadi is well worth it. If you go to Oman you have to see it and of course after that straight to the beach

Definitely a must in when in Oman. A beautiful cave at the end of a hike. Must swim inside. About a 1.5 hour hike in. Easy for any intermediate outdoor enthusiast.

A very cool cave that is well worth checking out. You have to walk and swim through the Wadi for a while before reaching the end where the cave is located. Once you reach the end you swim into the cave through a tight crack where a beautiful waterfall reveals itself.

There is no where to stand and a only a tiny ledge you can climb up to sit on. Most people just tread water for a along as they want to spend in the cave. A rope has been tied at the top of the waterfall allowing you to climb up and jump off into the cave, the water is deep enough to do safely. A great place to check out!

The cave is incredible. It's like you're in a adventure movie. First you have to get to the "final pool" by water, so having anyone who can watch your stuff is advised. Then you swim through a narrow passage (a little scary) and on the other side there's the waterfall in the cave. You can climb out of the water via the rope that's next to the waterfall. I really loved this place and it might just be my favorite place on earth.

Just wonderful! There is an hour walk through the wadi before arriving at the end of the valley. To see the cave and the real beauty of this place, you should swim/walk (about ten minutes) to the end. Then you come to a hole in the wall where you only have enough space for your head, but you should be brave and go in to find a gorgeous cave with a waterfall. Breathtaking experience!

Absolutely worth visiting. Be sure to arrive early as the caves draw a lot of people. Don't arrive much later than 8:30 in the morning. Also be sure to go all the way to and into the cave at the back.

Simply stunning. 1rial each (return trip) to cross the water by boat before the hike starts. Quite an easy 30 to 40 minute hike over some rocks up the gorge to the start of the pools (follow the big black water pipes and some red arrows on the rocks).

Fresh water, crystal clear and beautiful. We left our bag on the rocks along with many others and swam up to the caves. I would advise to wear some shoes in the water as you do have to walk on some stones half way up where the water is very shallow. You do need to swim through parts so unless you are a good swimmer, waterproof cases are advisable for bags or electrical items.

Make sure you go into the cave at the end, you donโ€™t have to swim underwater as the crack in the rocks is big enough to get through.

The place is awesome! There is no fees required to get in unless you want to use a boat to cross to the other side. If you are planning to go by yourself, avoid being there at 10am to 2 pm especially on summer because it is too hot and barely you will fine a shade.. the best time to go is before 8 am or after 3 pm. You will need a waterproof bag, a waterproof shoes, snacks and plenty of water, and a camera or a waterproof case for your phone. You will need to walk around 45 minutes to reach the cave. If you are not a good swimmer or you are not fit to swim for a long distance take a life vest. You can do cliff diving in the cave and at the beggining of wadi shab fresh water. On the way to wadi shab, you can pass by wadi dhiqa dam and hawyat Najim. Don't forget to take great shots!

Beautiful wadi! Try and get there early, as the hike to the wadi and back might seem just a touch too difficult on a hot day.
