I would give them zero stars if possible!! Worst customer service on this planet!! Bloody money sucking leeches!! Greedy and hungry for just money!! Terrible website which never works and when it finally worked, they charged me 61 rials and said the transaction was declined!! and i never got any appointment!! They have a contact number which is good for nothing!! I registered a formal complaint against them and I will report them to consumer report services too! and not only that I have clearly instructed my bank not to transfer any money to these greedy beings! Their website their customer service is all beyond trash!! Pathetic and disgusting!!
The staff were kind enough to assist me with the problems i have with some papers. Unlike some comments here i find that the staff are very helpful and accomodating.
It is the worst thing in Oman that VFS is given the task of processing visa applications on behalf of Western countries. Their electronic system keeps playing games and shows error messages constantly. For instance, a job such as booking an appointment, should take few seconds…but with VFS it will take hours because they keep asking you to fill the same information and then the error messages appear….very very very frustrating. VFS never answer their phone or email inquiries. They are only interested in exploring various ways to charge you as much money as they can. A couple of their staff are rude and ignorant. I have seen them playing with their phones and eating crisps or chatting to each other while customers waiting for someone to see them.
Unfortunately, I have no choice but to use their services because the embassies which VFS represent can't be bothered about receiving direct applications. Sometimes I feel changing my mind about visiting these countries and book my holiday in a place which doesn’t give me so much hassle with obtaining a tourist visa.
I would advise these embassies to take some moral responsibilities towards the greed and poor services by VFS

they try to find any mistake in your form just to retype the form and charge you more..
Some times they asked for many copies of the papers just to copy for you in additional charges.. also they changed me 1.5 OMR for messages notifications when my Visas ready! but no one sent me a message, Why you charge all this and no benefits??!!

Terrible communication (lack thereof). Minimal customer service with no communication at all when your passport is ready for pickup/ no call, no sms, no email; leaving you to wonder for weeks what is happening with the application, until you decide just to go back to the office an enquire (even though you were instructed not to), and find out that the passport and visa have been ready for weeks. Totally unacceptable
The only helpful person was the office boy, believe it or not.

Service is taking long and even I went through premium with appointment, its not worth to pay. I paid for this service 275 OMR plus 115 OMR for additional fast service after the interview to get visa urgently and its the third day I didn't get any confirmation. This is really not right and unacceptable

Appointments mean nothing here. You have to come take a token and wait. Place looks like 1970s banks waiting areas and counters. I dont know why these coutries would approve a center that does not reflect their own standards in customer services. The token screen just went off as well .. What a joke

Very very bad service. They take 1 Rial for SMS service and just send 2 SMS one while submitting and second while receiving. Took 6 rial for aremax for passport delivery it took 5 days to deliver. No contact details. Poor service

I have spend two days to submit papers to France. Was paid for premium launch 17 OMR for waiting in queue for three hours 😡😡😡 Very Very SLOW customer service!!! Horrible service!!!
