  This place is very beautiful but One criticism is that the design of the shelves in the children's library, resembling playground slides, may inadvertently encourage children to play on them. Despite warnings, young children may struggle to understand why they shouldn't play. This strict enforcement could lead to negative experiences for both parents and children, which goes against the values of respect and child-friendliness that Oman prioritizes

  Hands down the best place for children. Books in various genres arranged in neat and age-wise sections. English and Arabic language books are available.
  This is more like a reading place, you cannot take books outside of the facility. Children can easily spend the whole day engaging themselves in various activities inside.
  The building is located in a quiet place where enough parking is available.

  Beautiful place to bring children, above 3 years old. They have a good collection of books, both English and Arabic and also have a lot of nice toys and puzzles for the kids to play with. The view from the building , which stretches over the mangroves adds to the beauty. And its free!

  Library for Children
  Free of charge.
  No membership required.
  
  There are three sections.
  Sections for 3 to 7 years
  Sections for 7 to 12 years
  Sections for 12 to 17 years
  
  Read as much you can.
  Books not issued for take out.
  
  Facility is fabulous.
  They care for sanitization.
  Used books shall be kept in cart which will be sanitized before it goes back in racks.

  It is a good library, but the timing are not at all good,l who can really take their kids in the given time ?? I took my daughters in easter holiday, for now i have no problem but i am going to start my job = timings should be changed. Children come from school 1, 2:00 pm they need to have food, rest for a while its very difficult n especially for people who stay far from the location, ruwi, barka etc.

  مكان رائع جداً للاطفال... مرتبه جدا وراقيه بكل المقاييس تشجع الاطفال للقراءة وحب الاطلاع... انصح الكل بزيارتها سيحبها الاطفال كثيرا.. اتمنى تمديد فترة الدوام ليتمكن الجميع من زيارتها واتمنى ان تفتح ابوابها خلال اجازة نهاية الاسبوع.
