Fabulous place where i stayed a month back in 1972. It was rather more rustic back then but had wonderful evenings in front of the fireplace! The pippis were plentiful and delicious too

It is one of the most magical enchanting old fashioned hostels in the worldsuch gems should at all costs be preserved for the next generation. Modern is not always the best

Mijn favoriete yha. Kom hier als ik in NZ ben heeeel erg graag! Voor het eerst in 1989. Prachtige omgeving, rustig, schoonen heel veel vogels!

Probably NZ's nicest YHA. The native bird song and golden beaches are enough to capture anyone's heart.
