Loved the stained glass and old timber staircase.
Hair dryer and sanitary bin in ensure
Very comfortable beds and tv.

Lovely clean rooms, comfy beds. Shame that the shower and toilet were in one room and always busy. Needs more bathroom facilities.

Room was a bit of tiny but clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are individual and very huge. Staffs were generally helpful and friendly. Overall a good choice to stay.

Bookings should be done in advanced..I preferred to book dormitory instead of room..it's cheaper 35 NZD..and u get a locker room to put your bags.. just get ur essential things in your dormitory shelf.. along with some food stuffs..u can cook into the kitchen and have ur dinner in hall watching big screen TV..

Nice, new and tidy rooms. The lounge in the front ist much nicer than the main lounge (and is where you have the best WiFi reception). Definitly a good and well-located place to stay in Christchurch.

It was pretty good for a really reasonable price. The dining and kitchen area is very big and provides plenty of space for cooking, I really appreciate that in a hostel. Made good memories here. All dorm beds are standard bunks. Easy to meet lots of nice people here. Staff were professional.

Good hostel with a convenient location if you're traveling by bus. WiFi is free and works well in the room. In general comfortable and clean. Had minor issues with the electronic key not opening the door, but nothing serious.

We stayed in two rooms - a mixed 4 dorm and a private 2 twin. The 4 was small - it felt like a closet with two bunk beds squeezed with lockers, and a shared shower. The twin private was much better, and being a premium we got towels, tea and toiletries. The common room is spacious, the laundry is great with clothesline to dry outside or a dryer. The kitchen is well equipped but can get crowded at peak meal times.

Recently our family had the pleasure of staying in the Hereford Street YHA, it was amazing with very clean very well presented rooms, even with our beds made. The showers/bathroom very clean & very guest ready with product available if required. The staff where very friendly and very informative with no question too hard. We all enjoyed our stay. Thank You.
