Quarry gardens are wonderful to walk through all made by volunteers , a great variety of plants and a great New cafe with delicious food and scenery

Surrounded with trees, relaxing scenery. Plenty of room inside and outside.Staff friendly food good not far from city area.Just off Western bypass Kensington. Good parking if early. Very popular.

Amazing the change from quarry to gardens. Photo albums available to browse and understand the transformation that has occurred. Worthwhile for a lazy stroll one afternoon.

Great variety of native and imported plants - a veritable botanical garden in an unusual setting. Well worth a visit

It was great place for kids to run off that wet weather energy... they loved the tunnels and the waterfalls ..

We love these gardens any time of the year and visit them from Auckland. Today we were pleasantly surprised with the decorated rocks hidden around the gardens for kids to hunt - very cool idea. First time ever we visited the new caffee and like it very much - good food, friendly service and pretty decor. Wonderful experience for the whole family.

Nice place beautiful garden created in a quarry. Good for bush walk. Hiking and relaxing.
