Came for the shower stayed because of the rest. Really nice Pool with free sauna and hot pool. Friendly staff!!

If you don't know what the canteen run for a life is it massive run that students and staff of st bedes college take part in we fundraise at least $500 dollars each and it all goes to people affected by cancer, students are split into groups to run all through the south island and back into Christchurch. I was put in the haast group. On the third day of running, and we were looking forward to getting into the Greymouth pool. We soon finished off the days run and got ready to go to the pool. As we arrived we could see people leaving however we didn't think muck of it, that is until we arrived at reception and to our dread we were told that the pool was closing in three minutes. On the pools Web page it stated that we had a whole other hour of swimming. In the end we were allowed 30 minutes in the spa which we all enjoyed however it didn't fill the same hole in our hearts like the hydroslides or swimming pools did. In the future I hope to see the Greymouth pool website more clear so no mistakes like this will be made again.
