  This was always the bakery we stopped at on our journey North and we came for one thing in particular - the smoked fish and kumara pie.
  
  Sadly the pie isn't what it used to be, with the pastry Chewy rather than crisp and flakey and the smoked fish in the curry filling not as flavoursome as it used to be. The last version I had here also had a cheese layer on the kumara topping that made it hard to eat which was disappointing as well.
  
  All that said and done, I will stop here again, just incase the last pie I ate was simply a one off bad example. That pie was THAT good, I have to try it one more time.
