The bar esthetism is wonderful and the lady who served us was very kind to our wellness.

The bar they are currently using as the cellar door was fantastic! I'm sure it will be a little drafty in the winter, but the beautiful, outdoor, tree canopy space created an amazing atmosphere.
The wines were good - not mind blowing, but the friendliness of the staff had us planning a return trip for the following day.
The $5 tasting was refunded on purchase and seemed fairly standard in Nelson in any case.

Der Besuch in Nelson lohnt sich generell. Im Waimea Estate kann man darüberhinaus aber auch noch wunderbar zu mittag oder zu abend essen. Der Waimea Sauvignon Blanc, der Spinyback Sauvignon Blanc sind delikate Weine. Wenn Sie be Waimea zu Besuch sind, probieren sie aber auch auf jeden Fall den Waimea Gewürztraminer. Das ist einer der besten Gewürztraminer die wir in Neuseeland probiert haben. Eine spannende und völlig unerwartete Entdeckung ist der rote Blend Trev´s Red. Einfach mal probieren!.
