I am writing on behalf on another person that visited the Waiau Country Estate on Sunday for lunch. Firstly we weren't told it was a roast and it was advertised as their standard menu on line. We arrived and it took 1/2 hour to get garlic bread's and coffee's. By the way there were only 2 other people in the restaurant dining when we arrived. When our mains finally arrived they were barely luke warm and the plates were very cold. $25 for a roast is very steep considering the quality and quantity. Service was also very slack. Waiau you have a lot to learn on the do's and don'ts as a roast is one of the most basic things to prepare.
