  My sister and I could not fault our apartment. It was beautifully clean and had everything we needed to make our week stay great. Serviced everyday and the bonus of a daily newspaper to. The owner was really nice to deal with and very friendly. We loved Hanmer Springs and would highly recommend The Village Lake Apartments a great place to stay and so close to town.

  Always a pleasure staying here. Owners are friendly and helpful. This is our 7th stay at Village Lake and the experience has been consistently excellent. Short walk to the hot pools and the best eateries in Hanmer.

  Stayed here as part of a road trip around New Zealand. The decor and facilities is of the highest quality. Well situated and I wished I lived there permanently. The fireplace is delightful and really sets the scene. I wished I was there for longer as it is a lovely apartment.

  Beautiful villas and very central to the pools and shops. Only downside were the horrible beds. Had to remove the down duvet that was being used as a mattress topper. Only one type of pillow - soft. Even with the duvet removed the beds were still way too soft. All 4 of us woke up every half hour.

  Just great. Very clean and comfortable. Very central but nice and quiet. Very close to everything. Can use Heritage hotel tennis court.
