Came here after a few days hiking and the food was really good. Clean premises and great service too. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

We were the only customers in the shop. The place was filthy. Didn't order food because everything made for food storage was filthy and food was not covered properly. The floor was covered in food scraps and the bin over flowing. Staff were out the back being noisy yelling and screaming (playing) when probably should have been out the front doing a bit of cleaning.

Good food, great prices. Nice for eating on the patio on a nice day but not a lot of space or decore inside.

The set up in this cafe is quite stark and it's not very inviting. The coffee and cake we bought was okay. The highlight of the visit was the handsome and friendly young man serving us. Otherwise it's not what I'd choose again. Atmosphere and surroundings are important.

Great little place in Twizel. Tons of takeaway selection for lunch, breakfast and a snack. They also serve breakfast all day, which was probably the breakfast with the best bang for your buck I've seen on the road in New Zealand, they actually serve a good amount of protein as opposed to many other breakfast places, which seem to favour carbs only.

Super strange place in a pretty strange town. Very spartan decor, indifferent service staff (when I found one), and despite being the only bakery in town they don't sell bread. Skip this place and either head to the next town, or if you're desperate, buy something from one of the two (!) Four Square supermarkets within 200m of each other.

Quite little cafe run single handed by the owner. Was very nice and personal. Has free wifi with a purchase!
