The food was awesome! We had quite a few of the entrees and then chicken, beef and soup mains. All were delicious!

Food was very good. Service should be improved though. I was being served by a grumpy old man. But the other (Thai?) staff was quite polite.

First used in 2013 used again in 2017 on our next visit to NZ - Remains one of the best Thai restaurants that we have used both in NZ and the UK.

The owner/host, grumpy, bad attitude and unwelcomeing, he definitely needs some training in hospitality. For a Thai restaurant it was below standard, myself being in hospitality business, never experienced anything

Like this. Only saving grace was the young pleasant waitress. Strongly recommend not to dine at this place

There is a grumpy, surely, white guy behind the bar (manager? Owner?) who likes to mansplain and treat everyone like 'idiot tourists' (we are kiwi). We ordered the advertised 'lunch special' and expected to eat there. We ordered beers (EXPIRED Chang) and sat down, the manager delivered it and I asked if we could eat there ~ I was shocked when he impolitely told me I was being cheeky for asking because it was 'takeaway price'. This was not at all stated on the sign out the front. We left and ate at the beach ~ food was average (yes, we have been to Thailand). Do not go here, there are so many other great places to eat in Russel with friendly staff and quality food!
