Great hostel. WiFi was a bit spotty. But thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

Cosy, clean and friendly hostel with a homely feel. Everyone in lounge together mixing at night, playing games, doing jigsaws. The delicious honemade apple pie and ice cream at 8 pm (apparently served every night to guests) was a bonus. Borrowed one of their complimentary mountain bikes to cycle alongside harbour and along Picton to Waikawa trail.

Very cosy, super friendly staff, free breakfast during Winter, apple crumble at night, hot tub to warm up, a lounge with a fire place, close to everything in Picton. They can book cheaper activities for you. Bad stuff: rooms have no lockers, showers should have more hooks, certain parts could be refreshed a bit.

Lovely little hostel in Picton. Has a funky south east asia vibe to it. Rooms and washrooms are located outside in small cottages. 8 people dorms were decently sized. There were not really enough room for storing everyones belongings properly. No lockers either.
Rooms are always humid and smell a little like wet carpet. The heaters dont work for some rooms (our heating pad and heating fan was dead). One of the showers had 2/10 water pressure.
The kitchen was small and only some of the stoves worked, but we got free toast and spreads :) Apple crumble and ice cream errday at 8pm as well. Oh and they have a warm tub (not hot tub).
Experience was nice and cheap. Would probbaly stay here again.response / report this review -

Cozy hostel in the middle of Picton. Great rear courtyard with a hot tub. Kitchen is a bit small though.

Cute and cozy hostel. I really liked the layout. Cheap dorm rooms and awesome showers. The kitchen is a bit small for the number of people that used it for breakfast and dinner.

hostel is okey for a night out two. there's two different buildings, we were located in the cottage which is tired looked and had a small kitchen and tiny living room. our dorm of six was pretty cramped and there was very small space to leave our staff or lock it. bed not
v comfy.the main building has a nice kitchen and dining area with a much bigger leaving room..

An excellent hostel with very friendly staff. The kitchen isn't massive but as it's not a massive place, you don't have to fight for space. A nice place to stay and relax
