  Only stopped in for happy hour. It was 2 beers for price of one. Thankfully the bartender allowed me to finish my first before handing me my second. 😀

  Came here for early dinner. The staff were friendly and attentive. The waitress asked me fot my credit card after i made my order at our table. She said its going to get very busy (it was wednesday evening) and they just wanted to be safe. I was waiting for it to be returned as but she never came back. So i went to her and asked for my card back. I told her i dont leave my card credit card with someone - out my sight. She explained that its the pub's policy, which i found rather weird. First place in wellington to experience this. So im not impressed at all. She finally gave it back to me. The food was ok.

  Good selection of beers, but the food was really poor especially compared to the many bars all around (Basque, The Tasting Room and Danger Danger to name a few). Loaded potato skins were dry and chewy; burger was bland; chips were soggy.
  
  OK for a drink and maybe a dance late at night, but you can do a lot better pretty much anywhere else on Courtney Place.
