  Food in restaurant was superb if you get chance to order Moroccan pomegranate lamb rump on cauliflower couscous and sour cherry sauce then do so. Best meal in last 3 weeks touring North island.

  Ordered two items, they gave me a refund for one as they had no room in the oven. The other item was cold and not very nice. My friends burger was under cooked and the mince was pink. Wouldn't return.

  We recently got married at the Martinborough Hotel, and to say we were happy would be a gross understatement. We organised it remotely from Australia, and Janine and her entire team were helpful, friendly, enthusiastic and brilliant to deal with. Not only are the staff great, the accommodation is beautiful, the hotel has both modern and vintage vibes, and oozes charm and style. We had our wedding in the private dining room, the food and wine were world-class, the service team were delightful and the room was perfect. Thank you to everyone at the Martinborough Hotel for making our wedding such a wonderful night. We'll see you next year for our first year anniversary

  My wife and I held my 40th here which turned into a surprise wedding. Janine and her team were excellent, helping with getting the details organised all via email, as we live in Melbourne Australia. The food served at our dinner was impeccable and the staff were lovely. Thanks so very much!

  Obvious management do not read client reviews as complaints repetitive. Management that disregards reviews clearly in the wrong business. Definitely not
  four star in any respect.

  Central Martinborough, lovely old hotel, great rooms, comfortable bed, rooms well appointed. Bathroom great included a claw foot bath which was great for a soak. Public bar was good and had a superb meal in the hotels restaurant.
