If you're in the area this place is worth it. No one would ever know this type of place is in the area. They have done a wonderful job creating this spot. My husband and I got a couples package that included a massage, 1 and 1/2 hour swim, a mixed drink and antipasto platter for each. It is well worth the money to get a package and easy to spend a few hours of your day relaxing while you eat, drink and swim. The staff were attentive and the massage was one of the best we had on the island.

Beautiful Polynesia style spa.
Various temperature natural hot pools set in a tropical environment.
Waiter service and cashless wristband system makes the whole experience relaxed and easy. Flavoured water stations keep you hydrated while floating in the incredible pools.
Recommend the day pass and then buying food as you like, which touch xan have delivered to the water or your sun lounger.
This isn't and cheap place however it is a wonderful treat, popular with hen dos, tour groups and couples alike.
The meals at the restaurant are very generous and delicious. The mussels you see are an entrée, incredible.response / report this review -

Amazing place, so relaxing, friendly staff, food able to be delivered to you pool side. Lots of space and different pools. Definitely recommended. The only thing that bites really hard is the price so they loose a star here. $70 for the day or $40 for an hour. Compared to Wairakei Terraces at $25 for the day which is just as nice.

Beautiful place to relax. Friendly staff, lovely food. Really enjoyed the different temperature pools, allowing you to find the one best suited to the weather or your preference. Poolside service is great too. Relaxed atmosphere and shade available for those of us that can't have too much sun.

felt kitchsy and not very natural. Was looking forward to this more than most things on our holiday and found this ambiance to feel fake and a little geared to cheap people. mostly the structures and the layout. the glitz, etc. Also got several mosquito bites there. Menu looked delish but we didn't try anything. Definitely don't go out of your way to go but maybe if you're in the neighborhood, it's worth an hour or 2.

Prepair:swim wear,big towel or robe
feel like relaxing in the forest. warm water, many greens.. I really love it.

A friend recommended this place to relax. It looked ok from at the entrance but once we got in it is like a wonder land. It felt like there weren't many guests as the pools are spread out, super cool. You can order drinks by the pool or sit in the restaurant by the fire place to enjoy a drink.

Amazing value for money. Never seen anything like it. No need to travel for hours and pay for flights overseas when we have this hidden oasis in our own "backyard". Cleverly and beautifully designed, this is an indulgent spa with a serene atmosphere set in lush Native landscape!

Not quite what I expected, but an enjoyable experience nonetheless. Pricey, a little touristy, and not the natural wonder or spectacle of other similar thermal springs around NZ, but still worth a visit if you enjoy hot pools.

The Lost Spring is not necessarily a breathtaking attraction but is a great place nonetheless to relax after a long day. Users can choose to soak in pools of water of different temperatures. The water quality is acceptable, although the occasional debris floats by you. The poolside service was efficient and we were charged NZD$10 for a platter of chips at the end of our experience. There is only one shower. Be advised that the promotion described on a Go Rentals brochure is no longer valid at this location. The counter staff were friendly and receptive to negotiation when we encountered a problem.
